I am sure your will remember this post in March 2012 http://www.melclifford.com/2012/03/should-a-top-quality-hotel-offer-free-wireless-access/well lets add the Holiday Inn at Heathrow Airport London, Sipson Road onto the list at £5 an hour -what a rip off when you can get Free WiFi in Starbucks and a great coffee.
Just another rip off of London hotels when most place offer internet access for FREE

Mel, let me add my voice to your free wireless access issue. In two top hotels, one in New York and the other in Cairo, payment was required for wireless access. Yet, in my favourite hotel, The Dunraven Arms, Adare, Co. Limerick, I can enjoy free unlimited access. Pat
Hi Pat
Thanks for your comment. In nearly all of the small coffee shops that I go to, internet access is free. In most of the good hotels it is also free. Yet in a lot of the so called top hotels I hear the same excuses it is a policy from Head Office… yes we know nearly all of our guests complain – as usual Head Office don’t give a toss
Well done Dunraven Arms Hotel in Adare http://www.dunravenhotel.com
