Hey Alastair is Go Cuncuks Go the same as Up the Town or Up Monaghan, yes Nora, back home we would shout Up the Cuncuks. Sound vulgar to me Alastair. What about the Stanley Cup is that the same as the Sam Maguire? The Stanley Cup is for Ice Hockey and the Sam Maguire as you know is for GAA Football.
What is a Cunuck anyway Alastair?  Well Nora according to the Random House Dictionary –the term Canuck was first recorded about 1835 as an Americanism, originally referring specifically to a French Canadian.  This was probably the original meaning, though in Canada and other countries, “Canuck” refers to a Canadian. But nowadays the Canadians use “Canuck” as an affectionate or merely descriptive term for their nationality.
A fecking history lesson all in one go Alastair. So after all that Alastair a Cuncuk is like being called a “a Paddy” or a”Brit” – Up the Cuncuks, Up the Paddies and Up the Brits, and Go Quebec Go .
