The Shrinky Family – Chapter 9
The Battle with the Hairy Magoon Scoundrels Emerging from the thick foliage, Isley and her baby dragons dashed towards the Hairy Magoon scoundrels. With focused determination, they unleashed powerful streams of water, targeting the scoundrels’ three-legged frames. The sudden assault startled everyone as the Hairy Magoon’s wailed loudly upon being drenched. Each one danced frantically, as if afflicted by flames, before hastily retreating into the surrounding bushes. Meeny’s shout confirmed their proximity, sending the children into a frenzy. However, Isley interjected, explaining that their path diverged at this juncture. They needed to return to their dragon kin and homeland. Farewells were exchanged, filled with gratitude and warmth. Mr. Winkle Handsome, Charlie Whitesocks, Gallop, Yew, Hoppy, and all the Shrinky family members expressed their appreciation for the dragons’ bravery, support, and friendship. “I hope we meet again,” Moe murmured wistfully, while Eeney embraced Splash and Drench tightly. With hearts heavy yet hopeful, they bid farewell as the dragons departed, and the journey continued. To be continued……
